    Rain makes a difference... duh!

Just yesterday none of my four Burmese Orange plants was tall enough to touch the wire that I plan to use for manifolding. Today after a rain, all four are up to the wire.

Getting ready to plant sprouted autoflower seeds in ground

Right. I'm just using the lights to delay the photoperiod plants. Sorry, my "system" is not exactly meticulously constructed.

Getting ready to plant sprouted autoflower seeds in ground

I think I will do that, then. I was mainly worried about snails or slugs demolishing the seedlings before they could get big enough to survive being browsed. Well, that and the "don't repot autoflowers" mandate. Thanks for the advice!

Getting ready to plant sprouted autoflower seeds in ground

Oh, I'm just using the landscape lights to delay flowering. They get full sun as long as it's daylight outside. I did more or less the same last year and was able to harvest some flowers around this time. Main problems were mold and bud worms. But I think the flowers I grew in warmer months were...

Getting ready to plant sprouted autoflower seeds in ground

I'll have to live and learn, then. I have had such poor results from germinating seeds lately that I was fairly surprised to get 100 percent of them to sprout. Right now it seems like the hardest chore is figuring out the best timing for soaking and planting seeds. I have a bunch of beans that...

Getting ready to plant sprouted autoflower seeds in ground

Last few days I have left the lights on 24 hours. They are LED landscape "spotlights" that I got on sale at Home Depot and barely use any electricity but it rains so much this time of year that I prefer to leave them on rather than plug them in and unplug them twice a day. I forgot to mention...

Getting ready to plant sprouted autoflower seeds in ground

I impulsively soaked some Mexican Airlines beans from FastBuds and got five out of five to pop for me. They are in peat pellets now. I'm not posting photos because they look exactly like any other just-sprouted seedlings in peat pellets. My question is, since last I heard repotting is not...

    Visiting Vegas

Well FWIW my wife did not go to Planet 13 but she talked to some folks who did and they indicated that it was legit. I think some sleazy vendors at tourist traps in Vegas may be ripping off visitors who don't know where to get the good stuff.

    New store in Bellflower

Gotta check this out. I'm in Downey and have to drive pretty damn far to get to any dispensaries. This might be the closest store to where I live. Don't know anything about Jay-Z because I am an old fogy who stopped listening to hip-hop approximately when Shaggy arrived. "BELLFLOWER, Calif...

    Visiting Vegas

Just wanted to report here that my wife is visiting Vegas right now and she texted me overnight she is pissed because she paid $30 for a preroll that was supposed to be indica and got no buzz of it whatsoever. She checked the fine print on the label and it said CBD. Now she thinks the a-holes at...

    Equilibrium seeds... YAY OR NAY?!

UPDATE: FWIW all four of the Burmese Orange seeds I sprouted appear to be females. The plants look nice and healthy and I just put them in the ground today. I have a night light on them to keep them vegging for a while and then I'll let them flower along with the rest of my plants.

Just heard something about Greyhound that burns my ass

I guess so, but even the airlines are not such hard-asses.

Just heard something about Greyhound that burns my ass

My wife just told me she saw Greyhound employees confiscating gummies from a woman at the bus station in LA. Apparently Greyhound has a zero tolerance policy and they WILL search your baggage if they think you are carrying cannabis.

Hate to admit it but some major scumbags have been involved in growing cannabis in California

Cannabis is fairly benign and so are most of the people who produce and consume it, but ... well, just read what this sleazy doctor's son did when his wife caught him having an affair and keep that in mind when you're dealing with anyone on the margins of the industry. Be careful. The doctor got...

Had to buy some seeded "Lilly"

It was a nice happy buzz, but I can't say for sure it was high CBD. I wasn't in pain when I used it.
