I don't know where you are at, it depends on the strain, they look to be about 4 weeks old now?

The yellowing looks like overheating, if the spot thats yellowing is far from a fan and getting little airflow it could just be getting toasted. Otherwise its the lower amounts of nitrogen in your bloom nutes causing a slight deficiency, either way it doesn't look like you need to be concerned...

Thank you sir. I work with a chemical called "monomer", it's a bonding agent for polymer and acrylic fabrication, its very toxic and I literally get it all over my hands while I work (I know, not so great). There is a chance that I didn't scrub my hands enough before mixing one of my water...

My experience with dwc has been less than satisfactory, I understand that this failure was my own fault but the downsides of dwc are popping up all over the place. Res temps are higher than I would like, the res isn't easily accessible (probably something I could have avoided) and flushing and...

It was hard to take this picture, and even harder to post it but let this be a warning; Contamination is bad! The plant on the left got contaminated, the plant on the right is doing just fine.

Trying not to panic too much, I am doing what I can to salvage the grow (trimming dead matter and watching res). Everything has stabilized, buds are still unaffected. Trichomes are visible on leaves and flowers but they are minimal, I'm going to limp the plant along a few more weeks if I can...

Flora nova has everything the plant "needs" to flower but if you want a bit more yield "Tiger bloom" from fox farm works great to bulk up buds. To answer your other question, the damage hasn't really reached the buds, so far the fan leaves are just getting pwnd. If the degradation gets to the...

I think I may be able to salvage it, we shall see, if the damage persists I will just destroy that plant and start a freshy.

Well yesterday's flush and nutrient exchange didn't go as well as I had hoped. I awoke this morning to the smell of decaying plant matter... Most of my top fan leaves were burned to a crisp from the new nutrient solution, it was considerably weaker than the original formula and ph'd to...

I honestly have never noticed a taste difference, tons of growers talk about the flavor of soil grows but I just can't differentiate, maybe my taste buds are shot lol.

So, I'm wondering if I should have named this thread "Profgrow makes big mistakes so you don't have too" I once again get to admit to a failure I have made and how it has effected my grow. I will preface with this; The last 2 weeks have been rough to say the least, between car problems...

I'm running at 35-40% I'm trying to put off putting more money into the setup until after the holidays and this run should be harvested around the first of the new year. Because I'm a compassion grower (don't really charge my patient for my time) I don't make much profit from my grows, I can...

Trichome production is very minimal at this point, I'm only running Fox farm beasty bloom and tiger bloom, with a bit of N to round it off. I have never used any sweet because my grows have tasted very nice without it and I had been told its pretty much for flavor. Really hoping trics start...

I may be light burning a bit as well, don't have a lux meter but my 600w is around 12-14 inches from my tops, temps are only around 79-80 at canopy though, definetly dialing back the nutes and see if that takes care of it.

One man and his bush - 1 plant SCROG in Stealth Cab - Chocolate Berry

Fungus gnats are a pain, they are one of the main reasons I no longer run soil grows. Fox farm makes a spray that works pretty well, just wet the top layer of soil with it for a few days and any reproducing gnats will die as they emerge from or burrow into the soil, the rest can be picked off...

There are some patches of browning, got out of control before I even caught on, got busy and lazy last week. I think I'm gonna dial it back now that vigorous growth has slowed, I don't think the current nute burn is going to hurt that much but I can't afford it getting worse.

This is Barney's VK. Honestly the smell is stronger in veg than in early flower, over the last couple days the smell has increased. They were putting very little energy into trichome production and now that a few small trics have appeared the fuel/skunk smell is becoming apparent but not...
