Who you gonna call? Myth busters!

Most Cannabis you buy on the streets in UK is produced by organized crime using cannabis slaves locked in apartments and underground bunkers.

bit coins for dummies like me.

Never used Gemini. Coinbase is probably the best one that I know for US buyers. Bitstamp is another. Maybe this helps: https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/exchanges/

bit coins for dummies like me.

I actually did, back in 2010-2011 :) I don't see any reason to sell bitcoins anymore. you can spend them directly if you want, but their value is most likely only going up. Same for ethereum, ripple and zcash, those are for holding for the long term. You should try mining zcash for few days...

Pic of a cool OG Kush seedling

One thing many people tend to forget when they talk about potency, and types of highs, is that like any psycho-active drug, our perceptions and feelings of its action is purely subjective and individual. There were so many times we were smoking with a group of people, some got high, some didn't...

Those are luxuries for the people who live in legal countries, what about us underground cabinet rats? :) My vision when I think about the post legalization world, is that strains will be sequenced, and you will have a way to know what strain you actually have, and what are the things that make...

bit coins for dummies like me.

The feasibility is quite high actually. You get to ROI within 3-4 months. So from a graphics that costs $300 you make about $100 per month, depending on your electricity price. I live in one of the countries with the cheapest electricity in the world and I pay about 3 cents per kW/h. That's...

How best to keep track of your grow?

Actually there's a very nice website called growdiaries.com, it's quite nice to browse journals there. Like most user generated content webistes most of them are quite bad, but there are great ones too!

I do agree about Dinafem, all my experiences with their strains so far have been super positive (as user though, not as a grower). But some of the things I read in this thread make me wonder, how can someone who is not an expert know what strain he is actually getting from a breeder, and how...

bit coins for dummies like me.

In short, bitcoin for dummies is an oxymoron. If you're a dummy, you can't use bitcoin *safely* and anonymously. Dealing with bitcoin requires you to read and to understand what you are reading. At some point the apps will be friendly enough so even technologically illiterate people could use...

Why all the arguments over LED vs HPS ?

I heard good things about "Kind".

Why all the arguments over LED vs HPS ?

I use Chinese Mars clones (I got them used for next to nothing) for veg, and DIY COB for flower, so it doesn't help you. Actually in your place I would try to get a friend who is good with their hands to help you with a DIY COB kit, although then it technically becomes a DIWF COB kit ;)

Why all the arguments over LED vs HPS ?

I'm not so sure. Most people think they know what is good for them, and science has proven many times over that this is in fact false for most aspects of life (finance, health, happiness, dating etc.). I guess most people are trying to help those who fall for the marketing bullshit LED companies...

Why all the arguments over LED vs HPS ?

Yes, it's a matter of cost. Purely from a financial stand point, HPS is the only rational choice. if you want a robust setup that's easy, cheap, and proven- that's why people recommend HPS. People can believe what they want to believe. I looked long and hard at all the publicly available...

    Seedsman

When I was still living in an illegal state in the US, 2 of my friends did all their seeds ordering on my name and they ordered mostly from Seedsman. I have only good things to say about them.

Cross-breeding Marijuana with another Plant, like a Fruit

In theory this is possible and is even quite common thing, because chromosome duplication, interspecific introgression, and horizontal gene transfer in plants is way more common than in animals. In fact, many of the plant species we know and cultivate have evolved exactly like that. Modern...

16 days from seed, to early to top?

The common advice is wait to 5 nodes and cut between 4th and 5th.

    Water cooled cob setup?

Very original DIY solution, I love it! I've been considering a similar thing only with CNC milling the channels into the heatblock.

    Chromatography purification

I was thinking, is anyone using antibody based chromatography methods? In my life whenever we needed to purify something we bonded antibodies to an agarose metrix, you can get super pure extracts like that. There must be anti-thc antibodies commercially, shouldn't be hard also to immunize some...

Two simple questions with a lot controversy

The main principles with ventilation is: 1. Make sure your fan, filter, and air volume are compatible with each other. 2. Keep ducting to a minimum, and with as little bends as possible. Rigid ducting is preferable but more costly and more complicated to install. The rest has little to no...
