That's probably more what I'm looking at this year because I kept them smaller. It's a blow to the ego after having the big 2-5 pounders a few years in a row. Hopefully they lift this stupid ban I can blow things up next year.

That's what I was thinking. Buds are just around the corner. Those are pretty good size with lots of tops. Hopefully between 1-3 lbs each. Get them to be 10+ ft wide next year and you will reach that 5 lb goal.

I'd leave it be. It looks like it healed up already. Some cultures of growers purposely walk on the stems to toughen them up.

I can remember being very protective of my mom like that too. I ran a few losers off our front porch. I guess she taught me how to pick the good ones... Never again though. I've learned too much. Hopefully it's early enough to change the cycle for my kids.

I'm sorry you had to watch that. I used to try to convince myself it wasn't effecting the kids. I tried not to fight in front of them but as things got worse that didn't work and they saw more and more. He started trying to fill their heads with lies and would literally tell them I was dating...

Some of you might have caught the glares he would sneak my way at the BBQ this spring. And that was pretty much his best behavior. He was so jealous. I can't wait for the BBQ this fall/winter.

I posted an article to FB about how people who take constant selfies might have a mental disorder. I got unfriended by a lot of people.

At least I didn't fall of a cliff... I only do selfies if it's somewhere worth remembering that I went.

Any time now. Mine seem like they are just about to finish the stretch and start budding any day. Starting to throw more hairs but not enough to crown yet. It seems like it varies a little every year. I've seen them start budding end of July to mid August

My oldest is a huge TNMT fan. Kid knows the old school and knew school inside and out.

It's definitely changed a lot. I've lived in this area my entire life. Sierra College is where I'm going to. They have a good ag program.
