A quarter cup should be good. I usually do a couple tbs for a trash can full but I think my cans are more like 30 gallons.

This is my first year going full blown water only no till. I added a little top dressing at the start of the season and fed one tea in veg. Haven't fed them in weeks. I'm anxious to see how the taste and quality compares to the average season where I pump them full of organic goodies.

Sounds like great stuff! I did essential oils and herbs last year but still ended up battling mites at the end. But yours sounds like a pretty badass recipe.
