    Inside the zip folder you will find a short vid ... I used an old anodised heat sink ( Alloy 1060 ) and a HSS 4 mm drill bit ... With my left hand i'm holding my lousy cell phone ,recording the vid ... With my right hand I'm turning the lever ,lowering the bit towards the heat sink surface ...

    I use a bench drill @ 620rpm.No lubricant of any kind and ordinary High Speed Steel drill bits (HSS) and usually I start easy with pressure and keep increasing pressure until the hole is done ... Never had an issue .But the heat sinks I'm using are made of soft 1060 or 1050 alloys...

    Trust me ,the side walls -in case of reflective ones- mostly reflect the " stray " photons back to the leaf canopy ... The biggest losses are to be found in the ...floor (and pots ,soil ,etc ) ... An example ... Enclose only the "above ground" parts of a plant in a reflective environment ...

    BTW photons move down from the lamp. It's not like they randomly bounce around a lot. They don't generally miss the bud and then hit the wall. It's the fraction of light that comes in at such a shallow angle that it needs a bounce to even get close to the buds. Well said.:hump: Cheers. :peace:
