2011 Nikon coolpix with 1cm macro capabilities. Makeshift Ring light, tri pod, black plush background fabric. Noticed big diff with ring light, manual white balance and proper lighting/angles. Under $300 total. And yes no hps or flash allowed. Constant direct light on the object of focus...

Thanks bro. As far as a cam goes youd probably be surprised its a older Nikon cool pix with 1cm macro. A Makeshift ringlight, good background tri pod and Make sure I set the White balance. All equip was under $300. Lots of shots/practice and learning my cam and how things work to get to this...
