    Covert Grow Ops/Sidetracked:

He was in tall weeds. Two buzzards flew up, or I wouldn't have seen him. It took me a few minutes, even knowing something was there.

    Covert Grow Ops/Sidetracked:

Yep, a young one. There is an age where they look kind of like a fox, but this one has grown past that stage.

    Covert Grow Ops/Sidetracked:

I'm pretty sure those seeds are BST2 male X BST1 female. But I will look back to make sure.

    Covert Grow Ops/Sidetracked:

This morning I got the BST1 from the GN patch halfway trimmed. It must be a little further along. The seeds are looking mature. I got 3/4 ounce. I'm calling it Hurricane Head, in the tradition of Norman Mailer's Tough Guys Don't Dance. I shelled a little of it, to replace the bought pot and...

    And for another wing in the ever bigger natural history museum of dead shit near Larry's patches. {Don't look if you are just sitting down to supper}

    Covert Grow Ops/Sidetracked:

Went on to the Deer Ate CP1 with light food and water. It was dying more each time I saw it, so I went ahead and chopped. Really hated to think about watching it die bit by bit. I had a high regard for this plant, coming up from it's humble beginnings like it did. Got about 1/2 of a grocery...

    Covert Grow Ops/Sidetracked:

AC man came pretty early, so I got over to the BP patch with food and water. Killed the CP1 {#2BP} male and dusted the young CP1 and Slo2 again. It has rained each time I've done it, so I tried again. Huge thunderstorm about an hour afterward. Hope it had enough time. Here is the cloud about 5...

    Covert Grow Ops/Sidetracked:

I had time limitations this morning. {AC went out. Repairman was coming, not sure when} So I did a swift run to the SOL patch and gave the BP a light dusting with CP1 {#2BP}. It was several hours before the thunderstorm, so maybe it had time to take. Also food and water. Forgot the Epsom salts...

    MaiNiaK Mountain 2016 Outdoor Expedition

Next spring I can look back and see I started popping seeds in February and remember that that is too damn early.

    New England outdoors 2016

The alerts always miss some. I go to my news feed, then look at watched threads. But most of the threads I follow are in the outdoor section, so I just look there to see what has unread posts.

That is like money in the bank. Just like it right now. Not earning any interest.

He was dead. My little attempt at humor. He is damn close to the FP patch, so I'll have to go back. That is why I was hoping the buzzards find him.

Bushcrafting, the weed addition: Bugout patch

When you find yourself mixing up cana cinnamon swirl muffins after eating cana bread and a safety meeting, it is a good idea to read all the directions before starting. Good thing the muffin tin was well greased when I had to spoon all the dough out to add the topping to it. Didn't even try to...

    MaiNiaK Mountain 2016 Outdoor Expedition

When I did do grow notes, I could never find them the next year anyway. All I have to do here is remember a couple days until I get it posted. Like me cutting down the CP1 {#2BP} male this morning.

I love folks too, but if I don't have a thread to look back on, I will never remember what pollen I hit what girl with. Or when I popped seeds and the like. I don't write anything down on paper anymore.

It took me a minute to learn your new avatar. Nice.

They love my BST2 #3, but for the most part leave the BST2 #2 and BST1 alone. So far just seen them in this one patch. But then these are about 3 weeks ahead of the rest, so they may develop a taste for them yet.

The drooling is the worst part. I hate it when that happens.

Are you in BLOOM Yet? Tis the month!

    That looks cool as fuck.
