The smell will escape when you open the grow space. You will be required to touch the plants eventually, that will also smell. There's no way to grow without people in the same house knowing.

LEDs have their place. I personally never liked HPS, tried them years ago but always had to change back ceramic metal halides. These days I only grow in very small spaces that wouldn't work at all with HID lights, I could use a 150W HPS, but I doubt I'd yield the 350g I do with the 190w LEDs.

It's a tricky questions; They're starving and have been for a while now. Keeping them alive and starving might just reduce potency, but giving them nutrients at this point might not improve them. Next time keep them fed for longer.

I mostly use a titanium Dynavap with an induction heater at home or Solo 2 when cooking and an Xmax V3 Pro when I'm outside. Haven't combusted in years, don't think I could ever go back to smoking.
