I'd remove the bathroom fan completely while u plan on growing then get 6-4" reducer and go. Leaving the fan in, on or off will impede the flow.

Scratch that I just looked at your picture. Where you are now I would cut the buds off the plant and put them into a ziplock. Leave it shut a few hours before checking it, then just play it by ear from there. Open a few shut a few. I have to do it all the time. I don't want anything dry quicker...

Put it in big 20 gallon totes with the lid off and on to slow it down. Flip 2-3 times a day to keep things evenly drying.

I bought ocean forest once from a different nursery. It was apparent they had it in stock a long while. My grow did seem to be affected by it too. I make it a point now to only buy my soils from stores that turnover their inventory frequently.
