If it's working right I'd imagine it would use quite a bit more water!

less exhaust when using an a/c

K disregard what I said about any speed being able to keep it cool then. I was referring to thermostat AC's

less exhaust when using an a/c

Realistically your AC should be able to maintain the temps regardless what fan speed you have set. Does it have a thermostat or just low/med/high?

less exhaust when using an a/c

I'd turn off whichever exhaust is closest to the AC first.

Chakas plant supercharger Fuck it I had stuff laying around so I whipped up a proof of concept :) You guys picking up what I'm putting down!? I don't have any plants to put in it but I got the dirt wet and gonna see how slow it dries. I also think solid plastic buckets would work better than...

The table would be a plenum that had an exhaust fan then you set your buckets or bags over the holes you've made in the plenum and bam supercharged!

Yeah but mine was a crazy system that used vacuum to pull air down through the buckets. Worked fucking awesome in my head :)

less exhaust when using an a/c

Thats a good point. A window/wall AC unit will already work the same as a two hose portable. Neither will add or remove air from the grow room. At least all the ones Ive looked at, Id research the particular model to verify though. With that said, I'd probably start with an even lower exhaust...

The last grow system I never got to create was one that would actually pull air through the soil on a timer. Its like a supercharger for roots! I didn't get any further than just thinking about it though :)

less exhaust when using an a/c

The goal of running an AC unit is to have it come on as little as possible. Saves wear and tear on the unit and $ in electricity. What you want to do is actually reduce the exhaust flow a lot for starters. Say like 200cfm total. Then you time how often the AC cycles on. As you start tweaking...

I figure if it bugs me I'll run a homer in that corner always. Funny but the turbo drying of the soil really seems to please the plant cuz it's doing amazing

The downside to my room design and smart pots is that one next to my air inlet dries out twice as fast because it's blowing right onto the fabric. That might turn into a hassle.

40 crammed in here These 6 fall under the "really bad" category but we'll see what they do. Half of my run now started like these.
