You say that wood chips are fungus food.. Do you know if they feed with straw too... Have straw right now so if is the same thing will use straw :)

I will invest in brita filter since ro system are not in a budget right now... If you have some better filter system then brita please let me know... So just wondering for now with my current method - air stone method do I evaporate anything else except chlorine... Have tds meter too but I don't...

I have soil that is all winter on balcony and temperatures goes - 10... Is that soil still a live It is good quality so dont want to throw it if I can use it :)
