I try not to water right on the stem when it is young. The roots are small and fragile, i try to water around the outside of the pot so the roots search out for the water.

Here's my last Blue Dream bean. It was the last in a 5 pack from Fastbuds from 2 years ago actually. This is 78 days today.

To be honest, i bought 5 Blue Dream seeds 2 years ago. 2 finished but all leaves died early so it was premature and 2 didn't germinate. This was actually the 5th and final bean. I didn't expect this.

If you've been watering everyday in a 5 gallon smart pot, you are overwatering. You say you have let it dry out a couple of days... 2? 3? You may need to go 5 days and let the plant use up the water that is stored in the perilite. Depending on how much you have in there, it may take awhile...

I've been doing a lot of pruning underneath the canopy. Anything that doesn't get light is useless and will be airy popcorn.

I've officially switched away from Fox Farms Ocean Forest. The price is just too high for me anymore, I cannot justify spending $35 for 1.5 cu ft. I just got 5 bags of Miracle Grow Moisture Control for $11 each (2 cu ft per bag). That's $55 for 10 cu ft of soil. I'd spend $200 to get that...

If you are going to transplant, you need to soak the soil anyways to make the transplant easier. I'd say do that and you are good to go. The plant looks fine otherwise.

Chop that cola. Inspect everything else thoroughly, pull anything else with spots... Let the rest go 2 weeks, but that's just me. Don't dry the cola with mold, just bag it up and dispose. That mold could spread.

as mentioned, that small stem is actually a stem to a leaf that was removed. Looks ok to me.. Who knows what happened after it was harvested. Bad cure, sock weed, dryer sheets, etc etc....

60% is great for a young plant. Sometimes growth looks slow early on because they are also working on building a good root system. If you are pushing 80%, you might need to look at a DE-humidifier
