I believe he already cut the tops off and was letting the rest grow. It could of stunted it by chopping the tops so that could of been why it was not drinking as much

At Walmart there is a brand called just organic that I have used multiple times and it works great. The soil is literally a diamond in the ruff and it's very inexpensive I would use that if it's your only option

I did that with my dreammatic seedling after it germinated in a rapid rooter and it did great. Just make sure u add just a little water when they need it because once a five gallon is soaked it's hard for it to dry back out

I took the bag off. The thing that worries me now the top feels so bone dry but it is still showing signs of overwatering just sad still and a little puffy but my hydro meter is showing bone dry so I'm not sure if I wait to water till plant is looking healthy again from the last watering or what

I had a plastic bag around bottom of the five gallon bucket and I had perlite in the bag so the water could drain from the bucket and I took it off today a lot of roots went through into the perlite hopefully that does not cause any issues because one definitely look like the Taproot but I heard...
