They seem to take to the soil a little quicker when the roots are less then 1 - 2" over that they seem to slow down a little for me but all take to soil eventually. I have even moved a plant out of vegger into soil with over 2 feet of roots and it still took to the soil but it was slow going at...

I guess the fence post rails I put mine in for flowering must be much stronger then the lids you mention. I have had plants over 5' tall, give me 8+ ounces without breaking through, I mean the entire netpot becomes a stalk and they are a bitch to get out but I have never had one fall through.

I really think the plant matters, no way could one person trim a pound by hand with scissors of my DP Blueberry in 8 hours and it be a decent trim let alone up to my standards.

Looks great, I think you are still in for a good bit more stretch.

I could not see trimming a pound with one person in 8 hours, that being said this depends a lot on the leaf to bud ratio of the plants as well.
