I like to trim enough to have good air flow under my canopy. If anything spends the majority of the day in the shade and isn't stretching for the light, I remove it. Depends on how extreme you want to go with it. Each strain will react differently to pruning/defoliation, etc.

I would think so, without a doubt. You might contact customer service. Include your order number (assuming you purchased the guarantee) and let them know what's going on. If your souvenir is out of stock, you might start making a small wishlist of replacements. If you do get green-taped...
