He bashed Rez on the Potcast. Was a good listen.

    Karma Genetics

Rez made some good crosses no doubt but he produced a lot of shit too. His SD ibl had gems but the line was packed with herms, which he then tried to blame on his customers. SSSDH is mediocre. It's weaker than both its parents, on the whole. His total misuse of the IBL label is also hilarious...

    Banana Kush

Chances of finding a 15 yr+ old strain with a similar name to another quite well known cut is going to be extremely difficult if you dont know who even bred it. Let it go buddy.

The Frustrating Multitude of Headband Cuts

Yeh there's something about Sour D that hooks people. Look at the popularity it had in the mid 2000's with Rez. People were paying thousands for packs and everyone had to have it. Everything had to have Sour in it before cookies came along. But others like Karma have kept it going. It's just one...

The Frustrating Multitude of Headband Cuts

According to JJ, yeah. Underdawg = Headband = Original Diesel. Chem 91 was also changed to "Diesel" when it hit NY as well. And this is why, again, so many people are confused and I dont blame them. I dont know if JJ really knows the true lineage of Sour Diesel, as he claims, but there's no...

The Frustrating Multitude of Headband Cuts

The real Underdawg was bred by Weasel and was chem91 x mss x NL. It was also called Headband. Thats the original. All the others whether it's the LA cut, the 56 day'er, Loompa's, the 707 etc. They're are all renamed or rebred sour/og cuts. Dogwalker was bred by OneEye and is a completely...

What Breeder would you label "The Saint of Cannabis" today?

There's a lot of good people with kind hearts in the breeding game, doing great work with integrity. I dont think we need to single out anyone to place them above all others.

    Green Wolf genetics

Cookies x watered down cookies, $350. Yep seems about right for todays market. I will never understand why people support this sort of crap.

    Jaws Gear

I dont see a problem with a breeder not smoking. Maybe he has a trusted, seasoned smoker friend. Maybe he gives out bags to lots of people for independent smoke reports. Whatever it is, the reports are very positive from what I've seen.

As long as they warn people thats fine. There will always be morons who fall for hype.

    exotic genetix

Actually it depends whether you're willing to accept shit 'breeding' as the norm. Par for the course these days with a lot of people. Thats fine, but I dont see Exotic putting out disclaimers which they should with herm rates that high. This is how far we've fallen. 1 out of 20, lol.
  17. kwigybo88

    exotic genetix

No one should be getting 9 herms out of 10 seeds. Thats bullshit fr, even with these genes. You want the grower to make good selections, hunting, but dont place the same expectation on the actual breeder? Mike's gear has very high herm rates, even compared to other breeders doing cookies to...

    Banana cookies 60/40 coco

In the long list of "Shit people think is important but kinda isnt", the nutrient brand is definitely near the top. Yield primarily comes from genetics, light, temp/humidity ratio, and oxygen in the root zone. Ph and EC also very important for overall plant health. Inputs are way down the list.

In House Genetics BAD Herm Sugar Cane

Its nothing to do with being fems. Full moon fallacy. Its to do with using cuts that have herms in their genetics and the trait is inherited by the progeny. The strain he's growing has OG, Ogkb/cookies in its lineage. Herms will happen with those genes. Comes with the territory.
