Can you buy used grow equipment where you live? Craigslist is full of people who are upgrading or just gave up. I got a used SunGro 1000w hood/ballast for 120. Bought a bulb for 65 and I will be good for a few grows. Buying new is great, but well made equipment can survive and endure quite a bit.

Its ok. I'm sorry if I was a jerk. I live in a place where things are very relaxed. I'd use 10-15 times the amount of perlite. The lights are what they are. Wondering what EXACTLY is in your compost mix. "Veg compost" could be acidic, heavy nitrogen, have you tried ph testing the runoff water?

What's the pH? What kind of water? What is your soil? Light? Humidity? Leaves don't regain color, new growth will show improvement. More info is needed to really help. I would start over.

Also double check pH. Try a microbe to keep roots healthy.

Get that pH down. I float between 6.25 and 6.5.

Curious what changes (if any) the extended temp/light will have on the plant. Maybe you just discovered the 60 day dark dank technique...

You can use a super tiny keyboard vacuum as you pick herm-nanas. Pulls all the pollen while you operate.

Keep in mind also, those numbers are typically for hydro/dwc/aero. I'm not a soilless grower. Can't say much there. I measured my ppm to about 1040-1200 MAX. Again, I'm in soil...

Agree with @Herb & Suds . With soil (I'm currently using it) I wait weeks for nutes. If not a month. With FFOF you can almost see nute burn on seedlings if you don't drain right. Just water a bit, and watch.

Gotcha. I kind of patch my nutes together. Be careful, a lot of bottle nutes (especially doing a manufacturers whole "lineup,") are worthless, or unnecessary... stick to your core nutes. I don't use the "finishing flush" or "huge bloom nutes." I'm no expert, but mother nature needs assistance...

You need a really high amount of CO2 (look it up on RIU, someone has posted about it). A lot of light, and warm temps in a sealed grow space. Doesn't hurt....just not doing anything. Put some plastic palm trees and sand in there, ladies love the beach...
