You definitely want to let the pot dry out completely so the roots can breathe maybe you drowned it a bit ? Give it a day or 2 and feel weight of the pot it will be incredibly light when fully dry

I had my led around 12 during veg up until about a week in flower then I noticed slight cupping amd what not , moved to 18ish and it's been fine.. think there 14ish atm still ok so who knows
