Nah don't worry about that. Tends to happen in drier climates when the tops of buds are exposed to more light/airflow. Not something to be concerned about
A good rule of thumb is flip when they are about half the size of the desired final height. These are still seedlings so once they hit 2 nodes then consider vegging for 2 weeks depending on how fast they grow. You could also experiment with mainline training to keep them all within their own...
Those don't look bad at all. Like someone said, it was probably over watering. Just try and leave a dry day every once in a while so the roots don't drown. In a 2x2 you should really only have a max of 4 plants. However, it really depends on the strain. Are these autoflowers? Do you know how...
From my experience it seems buds take about 3-4 weeks to develop after you start to see tris on sugar leaves. The last 2 weeks is when the bud starts to fill in. Just keep an eye on those tris for when they start to turn amber
Bumping this because I am using almost all the exact same equipment for my build. How'd your setup turn out? Find any answers to your questions? Curious if I can pick you brain about pressure switch placement and desired psi to your nozzles?
No problem! I had the same question when I started DWC and it's a life saver. There's times when there will be a really thin line of water at the bottom of the rez/bucket but I usually just grab a towel and soak it up if I need all water out.
I've tried jumping on the hydroguard train so many times but never had any luck. I've seen great results tho so not knocking it by any means. Ya probably a good idea to let the water sit for 24hr if using HG since the chlorine in most tap water could potentially kill benies
Looks like it's just taking it's time. If you keep an air stone going and leave the water line just under (not touching) the bottom of the net pot the bubbles will water the lower roots and eventually they well drop down into the water
Actually sodium hypochlorite and by experience plant dont like it. A good alternative is calcium hypochlorite which plants can uptake in low doses. Plus keeps the res sterile. Personally I use Pool Shock and have great results (after dialing in the correct ratios). I've killed plenty of roots in...
Means your plants are drinking the water but not the nutes. Top off with PH water to dilute the mix until you find the sweet spot where the plants take up water and nutes simultaneously. Personally I keep my nute mix under 1000 PPMs so maybe try lowering your initial batch. I suggest 1/2 the...
Roots will grow straight down then spread out. Underfilling a pot may result in a root bound plant if the soil is too shallow. With the correct training (topping, LST, etc) you can control the height of your crop without sacrificing root zone area
It's really about personal preference. Dont pull if you see clear. Mostly cloudy will maximize THC and give you a more energetic high. Amber means the plant is converting THC into CBN for a more relaxing body high. My personal preference is 90-95% cloudy, 5-10% amber for sativa and 80/20 for indica
Throw in some boveda packs to raise that up. They work great and will remoisten your buds. Unfortunately this will not help with your cure since the RH has already dropped out of the "cure zone" once thay happens you cannot restart the curing process
I'm using the double pack of vivosun clip on oscillating fans for a 4x8 tent. Moves a bunch of air on low and haven't had any issue with them over the last 4 months. They've been running 24/7
