I would flush with h202 or chlorine to kill it, make sure your water is 19c or so, and start thinking about how you want to grow, if you are using salts, going sterile may be a better option and is compatible with throwing in h202 or chlorine anytime. I love that idea, but space is an issue. I only have a 3x3 tent inside a walk in closet. It is 7ft high. So the less height wasted the better. I would have to drain out of the side.

I still don't think its root rot. My roots were shit brown. It looked like a small layer of shit goo was coating the roots and I mean coating a clump of roots together and it smiled awful. It looked nothing like your roots. I'm sure I have pics somewhere hold on.
