I want to top once the plant hits 5th node for training purposes. I think topping slows down the original plants ability to show sex. If I wait for the plant to show and don't top, I miss my opportunity to train. I should have enough of a cutting from topping that I can flip.

Any autoflower should be okay unless you are very far north. Even then you could start seedlings indoors untill warm weather.

I dont roll much nowadays but when i did (70s), i liked the export papers. They were tough. If you forgot about a joint in your pocket, you could straighten it out and fire it up. All the super thin papers are too fragile for me. Sometimes the weed just pokes through when you roll.
