nothing but negative feedback from TNSB. I guess I was lucky as I ordered early and then again on their Valentine's sale and received the seeds within a week. So far, all but one free seed has germinated and grown out. Seed King seems to be making customers happy!:-)

I think I'm getting wavelenght and Kelvin scale confused. Before LEDs, I used 1000w MH for veg and 1000HPS for flower. MH appears white and HPS appears orange to my eyes. I must correct myself when I stated earlier "white" light should have been sunlight is made up of all colours of the...

xtsho you are correct 6500 K is in the orange/red spectrum but my flowering HPS bulb is 2100 degrees Kelvin so I'm confused.

you are correct, 2100 K hps bulb for flower whereas MH can be 3000- 20,000 K Obviously we are trying to mimic sunlight.

White light is made up of all colours of the spectrum. Photosynthetic response falls between 400 to 700 nm with UV on the low end and IR on the high end. Orange/red spectrum is better for flower but the higher the Kelvin the whiter the light.

I've always had more stretching with flourescents than LED's, intensity difference for sure but I also get more stretching under 1000w hps than I do under 600w LED.

where did you get the seed? The pics show nice consistency between plants!

when plants veg under "white" light 5000 K, they stretch more, LED's @3500K have more red spectrum, keeps plants from stretching for light.

I never thought I would see myself pay $10 plus for one marijuana seed! I bought seed 3 times from 2 shops by mail. MCS and TNSB, both delivered within 2 weeks. Mailing to US might take longer. If I had US $, I would order seed from Spain or Holland and they are probably more reputable:-) BC...

friends have used seed king, they were happy. I got quite a wide variation in the 3 GG#4 I veged out but at least all seeds from TNSB have sprouted so far. try MCS next time from Montreal but always pay the extra $10 for tracked expedited Canada Post.
