    Leaf damage? Dtw coco

I am seeing some good deals on paint strainer bags that will fit most pot sizes, and have a finer mesh size.

The fabric bag + mesh or panty hose sounds like a great idea. I'm surprised one of the grow equipment vendors hasn't already designed a new fabric grow bag that has the lighter bug proof fabric net sewed right in at the top rim, like a collar going all the way around, and come with little rubber...

Oh yeah I seen that strainer bag gnat experiment recently. I noticed the holes looked like they might be wide enough for the flyers to crawl through. It worked though!? I was thinking dang, he shoulda used panties or something with a finer mesh fabric instead...

Any of those 20" box fans are good. I usually find cheaper ones locally at the stores when they go on sale for around $20, but the plastic does seem kinda chincier on them. Lasko brand if I remember right. I would spend a little more and go for the 6 pack of merv 13 rated filters. Not too bad...

I like to scrog with trellis nets and have wall to wall budsites with as evenly trained canopy as possible. I generally FIM the new growth shoots so often like an OCD madman that I have upwards of 100+ smaller budsites per plant (and sore thumbnails), to help mitigate any bud rot from forming...

Ya, I meant the the IPM products\sprays that eventually build up in the plant tissues the more you use it. If you were treating only the mother plants though, the small cuttings you take would outgrow whatever systemic fungicides you used as they veg out. Like you said, putting the cuttings in...

    Leaf damage? Dtw coco

Cuttings have a way better chance of outgrowing any infections, once you get the climate under control. So, it might be worth saving good mother stock. I personally don't like using more chemicals or sprays as IPM, but clones can also outgrow some of those systemic anti PM additive products, so...

As long as you can find a dry place to stuff the BFFU (box fan filter unit) in the tent, it should help circulate the clean air throughout the tent space, even with lights or other obstructions in the way. Airflow is key! I've had plants mildew and mold up in brand new unused grow rooms with new...

What to do when stem snaps?

I always keep a roll of metal hvac tape handy. A couple of loose wraps around the break , then squeeze tight so it seals and creates little creases all around. Makes it rigid like a metal cast, and can hold up big branches, while still allowing it to stretch and grow. Works for me!

The roots should air prune to some extent, but yeah they might wanna poke through. Even if they do breach the fabric, as long as they don't rot away the gnats still can't crawl through. As far as PM.. Besides making blood offerings to please the cannabis gods.. when you get scratched pulling...

Just stuff a panty hose down into the pots as a liner first (instead of wrapping it all the way around the pot, which could stretch it out more and make bigger holes for them to get in). Then, fill with the coco medium. Put your transplant in and wrap the opening of the liner around the...
