It's like a rdwc system but with only an inch of water, with the addition of a Wick (as the "air gap" is bigger than an NFT system and will take a little while to grow that far down).

Thanks for the reply but it didn't really answer my question, I wanted to know if an inch of running water is enough to sustain a full sized plant. Until my roots get down to that level (around a 10cm gap) they will have a Wick supplying the water and guide the roots downward until it reaches...

Hi all, would a shallow recirculating dwc system work? (kinda like a deeper nft system) as long as the roots were touching the water? (I was going to use a wick from seedling, netpot to water, so the roots can make their way down and keep the plant watered). I thought in theory this should work...

Im also seeing growth without any pistills attached which is odd, but its still getting bigger so i guess early orange hairs are nothing to worry about if its that on its own. Is that your first go? Looks the nuts if so....

Wow great job! They look amazing, seeing your bud density makes me think if deffo got atleast another 3 weeks. Yours look ready to chop surely? Or are you going for a more stronger effect?

What strain are you doing? Having the same size problems ? This was the bud only a few days ago i believe on the bigger one, so you still have hope!

As for the pistols the plants been doing this since about week 2 of flower, does the buds keep swelling even with brown pistols? If you look at the other 2 plants they're also doing the same, but i think there actually at the point where that's normal.

Okay thanks, i know its about a 10 week strain and the trichomes aren't amber yet. The taller plant just seems a bit mature compared to the bud sizes, however i am noticing swelling is still happening. Im just a bit worried about chopping to early and getting a low yield.

As for the brown pistols, normal or is it something to do with the foxtailing? Every thing else looks fine smells dank! Anyone have any idea of what kind of yield to expect ? I know its hard to tell with the buds still having some weight to put on.

Good to know about the ts600, gonna add some extra lighting in there next time. So you think there's a about 2-3 weeks left before harvest? I was panicking a bit as the buds aren't what I'd like them to be....
