Those are just what he's letting go... I'm sure the vault is deeper than that

    3 cotyledons- scrap it?

It's fairly common. Could be stunted, but could also outgrow it. I'd ride it out and see what happens.

    S1 vs. serial backcrossing.

An S1 is similar to an F2 in terms of variation. It's like an F2, but made with a single plant. Back-crossing will stabilize traits toward a P1 plant. Back-crosses can made toward either a mother or father plant. The latter is useful if you have a good male, then you can select females from the...

    Growing and Chucking with MtRainDog

A buddy brought back this Sour Moonshine from Maine. Definitely sour leaning in look and taste. Wish I had taken some bud pics before we smoked it all, but he let me keep the jar which looks cool af.

    Growing and Chucking with MtRainDog

Critical Jack Herer - these are about 12-14" tall, and have all shown lady bits. They're drying out their half gallon nursery pots every 3-4 days. These will be transplanted to 1 gallon containers, cuts taken, and moved to flower in the next week or two. Very pretty girls. I love to see skinny...

    Humidifier/Echaust question

I would crank those fans. In the warmer months where there's nothing I can do for humidity, the exhaust goes to 100

    Humidifier/Echaust question

Following VPD is somewhat theoretical too. It's based on lab conditions, and analyzing things at the cellular level. In real life, there's so many more variables. I wouldn't consider chasing VPD and adding CO2 until I was very familiar with a particular plant, and had a sealed environment...

    Growing and Chucking with MtRainDog

It's that time of year around here! I've started a bunch of journals over the years and I never seem to keep them going. But this year, I've got a fresh head and perspective after being devastated by mites this summer and reduced to a plant count of zero. Had about 15 "elite" (god I had using...

    CSI humboldt thread

I might start one. I tend to just post in the breeder threads since I'm pretty lousy about keeping a journal going.

    CSI humboldt thread

I've got 11x of those SS x Afghans going, a little hunt and F2 project I've started. Corey and BBW will get hit too since it's all I have going atm. I plan on doing either a big CSI or Clearwater fem hunt from some old packs I'm sitting on. Probably CSI first since honestly, his gear has given...

White Widow auto 17 days with LOTS of foliage but little stretch?

I kinda go against the grain around here but I like to encourage some stretch in young veg plants. No harm will come by raising the lights up and turning the power down for young plants in veg like that. PPfd or whatever they measure light with is all well and good, but different plants are...

Who has best blueberry strain? Not DJ Short's version.

Best BB I ever had was from a med dispo in nor cal around 2015, maybe earlier than that, can't remember exactly. Fresh blueberry terps not really sweet, but strong and recognizable, that came through in the smoke. Nice well-being, perma-grin high. I'd call it a hybrid effect I guess. Didn't tire...

    Durban poison by Mel Frank

The ag mel frank durban poison is s1 of the same cut thats all over the west coast. Same durban poison csi uses. akbb has some durban offerings. Don't know much about them. I'm not a fan of durbans usually. Racy, nervous energy type high. Actually makes me dizzy.

Have you ever gotten a variegated plant?

I had the same thing happen a few weeks ago. One of my critical jack seedlings, new bag of pro-mix, new solo cups, etc. No way has come into contact with anything, and it had that extreme 50/50 variegation like @DMChiz has, but with the crazy nike swoosh leaves. I immediately thought wtf? How'd...

Have you ever gotten a variegated plant?

That type of variegation is the most common I see, and is the one they all usually grow out of. Yours is on the extreme side, but I still think it will grow out of it, or at least tone down.
