I agree but i would throw a chiller on it, couldnt hurt. If he has more clones ready to go then i would scrap everything for sure and break out the dishwashing liquid and sponge.

Thats root rot badd im sure it smells like a fish tank. When are you getting the chiller?... You need it real soon. Im not sure what the plants will do in flower but in veg ive dropped plants that had rot in chilled water and they would freeze in size for a week or two and grow all new roots.

The way i run my chiller is i have a small cooler with water that gets chilled. In that cooler i have a pump that runs to chilling worts that are used to make beer (around $30-40 each) in each rez. This way the chiller only has to cool a small amount of water and the pump to the chilling worts...

You can run 24/7 and thrive but you really need to be chilled. I hate to be a downer but from my experience this run is done unless you can chill that water right now or you can get something in there to fight the root bacteria. Even then there will be a lot of stress on them but its worth a...

First Hydro Grow - DWC, 1200W

Keep an eye on the roots they will fill up those buck and stop the circulation pretty quick. Looks good though.

How do my girls look? Week 2 or 3 of 12/12

If you can afford it on your next run get a 600w hps setup. Air cooled hood, fan the works. It will be a night and day difference in the outcome. You wont regret the investment.

    When do they fatten up?

If nothing is happening then you probably have more than two weeks to go. Using the naked eye look at them like bread in the oven. You will notice they will start to turn a golden brown color as they finish up. Most strains/phenos are different so you cant really say i'll cut at 8 weeks or...

    2k querkle scrog

Thanks its a fairy simple and cheap to build setup but i like simple less maintenance. Its a 4x4 tray on cinder blocks as a table with a tote underneath as the rez. A pump in the rez feeds the lines that all have ball valves to control the flow to the halos. I also added a boiler drain to...

How to Grow in 90 degree heat?

Dont quote me on this but im pretty sure the ground a few feet deep can be anywhere from 20-40 degrees cooler than the ambient temp. If you've ever seen roots in water temps of 70-90 degrees indoors you know its nasty slimy bacteria fest.

How to Grow in 90 degree heat?

Dont have one on this run. Its all from seed strains mixed just testing them see how they do.

How to Grow in 90 degree heat?

Lol they got a couple weeks to go so hopefully they swell some more. I was just trying to preach that i think cooler roots alone make for better plants than cooler ambient temps alone.

    Aeroponic repeat cycle timer?

You run into problems with any grow style but aero is the most unforgiving imo. If a pump fails in aero its over real quick and root rot can be a big problem as well a chiller is a must.

How to Grow in 90 degree heat?

The guy isnt asking what temps he should be growing at he is asking how to grow in high ambient temps. Im giving the guy info on how to do that and it works. I got colas bigger than the donkey dick we wish we all had to prove it!

How to Grow in 90 degree heat?

Assuming you're running hydro. Run a chiller. If you keep your rez temps around 65 f you can have air temps up to 100 with a fan. It wouldnt be any different than outside because the ground keeps the roots cool.

    Aeroponic repeat cycle timer?

Unless you want to run 15 min on then you'll need to spend $60-$80 and you can run 1 min - 5 min on times which seems to be the norm in aero. Aero is a pretty complex system to get a great run all the way through i would recommend dwc rdwc waterfarms etc

    2k querkle scrog

Very nice! Here is a couple pics of the top feed in test really first run on this system but looking pretty good. Using halos for a continous spray 24/7 from rooted clone in hydroton in smart pots in a flood table.

Very nice run. I have a continuos spray top feed running now. It's the first run but it looks like im going to convert over to this style. I'll share some pics to give you some ideas for yours when i get a chance to take some.
