What are you using to test pH? That doesn't make a ton of sense. Usually pH drops over time as the water temp rises. Also, chlorine actually raises pH, so theoretically as it evaporates your pH should go down. Evaporation can concentrate dissolved solids which can effect pH as well depending on...
