I'm using the insert from an old SIP Eco Grow Pot, so far so good. It's referred as SWICK over at 420mag (Sub-irrigated WICK) I used a piece of an old bag for the wick. It's in a blend of 2/3 Promix Organic 1/3 Pittmoss (recycled news paper soil substitute)

why do you want ppm so low? I'd say if your run off is 600 you need to feed with a ppm around 1400. the youtube vid I saw said the 911 rule if you're below 1100 you add 900 to get your soil to 2000. So if you're at 600 you should add 1400. not sure of the numbers, but the vid explains it well...

Once it's a female from a reg then I guess the male is left out because if you use it to make fems, there is no male genes present. No male genes in made feminized seeds. I think thats right, not sure.
