I just had an unknown strain at the time.

I was told it's another way of telling when to harvest. By estimating the percentage of red to white pistols. But checking the trichomes is more reliable? But like I say that's just passed along not sure how accurate the info is

I think the pistols will turn red when the bud is ripening. I'm not an expert just telling ya what I was told. Ya want a certain percentage of the pistols red.

These are from two separate grows my 1st and 2nd and were grown under cfls, incandescents, and a 4ft T12. Not the greatest but I'm a proud papa. Lol.

Is that full purple stem in the pic here due to the stress from the torture? or something else?

Yeah the bud I got now is airy not dense enough. But packs a punch.
