What to do while waiting on your plants to flower??

That sounds awesome! I find that a good coconut oil extraction is preferable to the butter I make of similar / same strength as the oil. It may just be my own opinion, or maybe body chemistry, but from what I've experienced, and what I've read on coconut oil and lecithin (used in making coconut...

What to do while waiting on your plants to flower??

I can't function properly without my edibles.. I have different recipes and different oils for all sorts of applications too! My favorite method by far for medicating is edibles because of the same reason you seem to dislike them. They last a much longer time! Processing my trim and AVB...

Veg. Room issues: yellowing, browning leaves pH @ 6.0

I've got several different strains in veg right now. The worst of them is Cotton Candy pictured below with worsening yellow leaves and brown tips. The other strain pictured is Super Lemon Haze and although it doesn't have the same severity of symptoms that the Cotton Candy has, this is a perfect...

First time topping plants, what's your thoughts ?

@calliandra The strain you're asking about is Green Crack (clone only strain, not the various seed phenos floating around recently) This is my first harvest, so I was worried about vertical grow space.. started them on 12/12 @~20" topped 2 of 'em to see what'd happen (and I needed clones to...

    oak wardrobe organic grow

Read through most of your grow.. looks awesome! I've got to try a few things off here in a 2'x4' tent I'm currently using to veg. I went bigger for harvest and used extra floor space since its getting too cold around here for people to be too nosy about smells = don't need the containment of the...

T5 Exclusive Grow / First Grow

I'll be sure to try that next time around with seed.. I started with clones, so those seeds were my first. Wasn't sure how the seedlings would take it at the time, but I had seen a few clones wilt right over without bags, so I was cautious.. I'm just glad to be getting feedback. :bigjoint:

What to do while waiting on your plants to flower??

You're absolutely right. The green color is from the chlorophyll leached into your end-product from the plant material during extraction. Soaking your material for 24 hours in water before processing it will reduce this color bleed, and adding some water to your extraction process will further...

T5 Exclusive Grow / First Grow

Thanks! I only use the bags to ween seedlings / clones out of the humidity dome. They allow me to put them under direct light while maintaining higher humidity to keep 'em from drooping. The bags are vented every 12 hours, and I only use them for the first 2-3 days after they leave the dome.

First time topping plants, what's your thoughts ?

I always top during Veg but during my recent experience with topping just prior to flowering, I wont bother doing it again within the same time frame. I anticipated a much more significant stretch, but what I ended up doing was severely limiting vertical gains.

First time topping plants, what's your thoughts ?

Couldn't have said it better. Do what you can to maintain your stable grow environment, find what strains prefer your environment, and which strains of those you like the most. Keep the winners and smoke 'em:wink:

My first cfl grow!!! Let me know what you think,

As long as you don't have any temperature regulation issues, I would make sure all your girls have just enough air movement past them to cause slight movement of the leaves, but not violently. Enough to add some resistance for them to grow strong against, but not enough to stress the crap out of...
