    Am i close to harvest?

Your buddy is clearly not experienced to tell you anything about growing cannabis. That, or he just saw an opportunity for free weed. Either way, don't take grow advice from them.

    Am i close to harvest?

Never go by number of days or weeks. The plants do not go by a calendar schedule. 50 days is only a shade over 7 weeks.

What's your "go to" rolling papers?

The rolling paper that came with Cheech & Chong albums.

    Am i close to harvest?

That diagram is utterly confusing. The "Ready to Harvest" image has less amber trichomes than the "Late Flowering Stage" one does, and less cloudy than "Early Stage".

    Wanna try new nutrients line

Jack's 5-12-26, Calcium Nitrate (15.5-5-0), Epsom Salt (Mg Sulfate) and Monopotassium Phosphate powdered water soluble nutrients. Fraction of the cost and equally as effective as big name brand bottled nutrients.

    Why do you grow weed?

Self-sustainment. Same reason I grow my own food, purify my own water, generate my own electricity etc.

    Germinating Seeds Question

Good. Just be patient. The seed should be moist, but not laying in saturated medium. I usually get seeds pop out of my medium after 2-3 days, but it can take several more than that sometimes. Whatever you do, don't go digging in the medium to look.

    Germinating Seeds Question

How deep into the medium did you put the seeds?

Please could you identify this leaf problem :)

Depends on three things: the medium you're using, the nutrients you're using, and the PPM of the tap water.

Using fruit to enhance your flavor

Fair enough. I urge you not to start pouring in random mixes of fruits from around the house as a test, particularly on your first grow.

    More lower yellow leaves

I see Magnesium, a bit of Nitrogen and Phosphorus deficiencies, and in the second pic, I see what looks like signs of Thrips on one of the leaves.

Using fruit to enhance your flavor

I'm not angry at all, just a little passive aggressiveness due to the sheer stupidity of the whole thing. I posted a very logical question that even a grower that's done one grow would be able to answer.

Using fruit to enhance your flavor

I didn't say you're anything. I also didn't say it didn't work. I threw out a question and left it up to the reader to answer it for themselves. That's the second time someone accused me of saying something I didn't in this thread.

Using fruit to enhance your flavor

If plants could uptake taste and flavour from the roots, don't you think that every single nutrient manufacturer would be supplying and selling flavoured nutrients? If you answer no, go ahead and mash a few bushels of strawberries, mix into water, and dump on your plants. Don't forget the...

NO MERCY FOR NEWBIES!!! LOL Just kidding. I haven't run into that myself, but if it is lacking, we can allow some leeway there :)

    Help! What is this?

It sure looks like Thrips have been thriving on the plant to me.

Using fruit to enhance your flavor

How in hell would that flavour a plant when given at the roots? Three lemons isn't even enough to flavour that much water, let alone the plants after it's filtered through all of the medium (if the plants could even uptake "flavour", that is).
