well, I already had half the bulbs, extenders, sockets and splitters before I built this cab so I just added to it.

I like the idea of additional t5 strip lights for side lighting...I do it myself (my main lights are cfls) But, yes, you could use those bulbs for side lighting...you should see a difference. :peace: edit: I didn't read all of the thread, and I do not know what the kelvins of those bulbs...

Be wary of the cheapies at lowes or HD.....I had some, and some got holes....luckily I double checked my cab one day after watering and wasn't in a hurry cause I had watering leaking onto a fan and electrical wires..... A local hydro store near me sells green heavy duty ones for like .95 cents...

Doc, that's good to know about the peppers too....i love hot peppers......I am looking into growing some scorpion and ghost peppers next year.........
