    Cloning Help

I recommend trimming your fan leaves up a bit, as I have read that it promotes root growth, however it should help em stand up straighter too.

    Cloning Help

I've had clones that rooted in less than a week, and some that took upwards of a month to show any kind of roots. Keep your water fresh/clean and eventually you'll have some nice rooted clones.

    Tent sizes

As someone already mentioned -- make sure you take the size of your equipment into consideration. I thought I was fine with a 4'x4' to flower in, but you put in the a/c and dehumidifier that takes up a quarter of the room already. Take Roger's advice and shoot for the largest tent that you can...

    5 Week 12/12 Update

Thanks! ;) I have a 315w CMH and a blurple mars hydro that probably pulls 170w inside of a 4'x4'x6' It's how I started out and I just kept with it.. I feel like it's more forgiving than soil. The Bubble Chem doesn't feel like it's going to get all that dense, but still should have some...

    5 Week 12/12 Update

The tied down slut up top is Chem '91, which just started 12/12 three days ago. On the left, beside the air conditioner is Do-Si-Dos, and to the right of that there is Bubble Chem. In the second picture you can see that I tried using painters tape to block some of the air from smacking the Chem...

    What should I do?

The Do-Si-Dos (NorCal Cut) is the smallest in the flowering room, and it has two broken branches that have been garden wired back up to place since it was too close to everything else to tape properly. The trichome development is the best in the flowering room and the buds are the smallest, yet...

    What should I do?

I purchased 3x clones and they all seem to be from good breeding, so I attempted to take clones using a cloning gel, and a bubble cloner with the discs/pucks/whatever-you-want-to-call-them so I didn't have to mess with hydroton or anything. Typically in the past I have used a bubble cloner with...

    Environmental Question

I found a company that seems to sell a quality smart vent, and with a coupon they provided it was $154 shipped. However, then I would need a piece of ducting to fit that and lead to a 6" for my fan, add in a few timers and I'm looking at about $200. I don't really have that kind of extra cash...

    Environmental Question

The ac and dehumidifier fight each other all night every couple of minutes. Once the ac reaches the target temperature, the compressor kicks off and it spits out air that's super wet and raises the RH to 99% within a minute or two. That's when the dehumidifier kicks on, corrects the RH, however...

    Environmental Question

Are the higher temperatures a serious concern? I'm trying to figure out how to save money this summer, and the only way to prevent the mold at night is to run the dehumidifier a bit harder from 50% to 35-40%, however that's just going to put out more heat in my room. I can probably get the RH...

    Environmental Question

I'm doing 55-65% RH and 78-81F during lights off.. are these numbers good enough to get me through my summer flowering? I'm not worried about during lights on, because my a/c unit will be running when the light is turned on.

    Temperature / Ventilation Question

I have a poorly sealed 4x4x6 flowering area, which contains a sealed 315w fixture with it's own air ventilation system. I have a dual hosed portable air conditioner inside of the room that brings in air from my basement, cools down the flowering room, but spits out the hot exhaust directly...

    Blueberry Gum ,Day 68 Flower

I'm not an expert in the slightest, however I would investigate temperatures a bit more. It looks like the fan leaves towards the top are curled up a bit compared to the bottom, and to me that looks a bit like heat stress. Again, I am no expert, but I believe that heat stress can cause...

    Question About Size

That's because I planned on throwing a couple of other smaller ones in the same place.. heard keeping them smaller, but having a couple more helps things out. I suppose that applies for the plant as well.. just not trying to have a 1-2 oz plant. The Bubble Chem has a lot of tops, and I...

    Question About Size

I wanted to see how these two would fill in, considering that I have another strain that I will be moving into the rotation here within the next couple of weeks, Chemdawg '91. I was considering bringing the lights a little bit closer, but wanting a grow without issues is preventing me from...

    Question About Size

I have a 315w CMH, and a mars hydro 300w burple that is probably 165-175w realistically inside of my 4'x4'x6' flowering room.
