I thought when the skin splits, its because the tomatoes have inadequate water and split. Alot of mine have been splitting lately.... Too much water? I'm getting about 2 lbs per day now, with my biggest harvest of about 4.5 lbs yesterday.

Looks amazing. Nice and BIG. =) I'm a fellow veggie gardener.... I've got tomatoes, armenian cukes, orange fleshed watermelons, and a few peppers, and one lonely tomatillo plant. Beans aren't doing too well. Next year I'm going strictly with Chinese Red Noodle beans.

I would recommend doing a 7 day veg with a larger volume of plants. I've done this before, and it really cuts down a few weeks between every harvest, which all adds up to at least 1 extra flowering cycle a year. I would recommend 2-3 mothers. I would also recommend using a MH for them.

I grow in a tent. A 2x4x5 tent. I ordered it from ebay. A simple search such as "4x4x6 grow tent" should give you a good selection of choices. Most are free shipping and around $80-$120 The biggest problem I face is heat. I would highly suggest (just like bbyy) that you get your tent first...

I know right! I'm like, "it doesn't even smell!" Then I go out to the store, come back and I'm like "DAMN!" Yeah, I noticed it's stronger when trimming than the actual drying process. I love the smell of trimming buds! ;)

Whoah. Don't use miracle grow again since you're experience a lot of problems. If you're growing in soil, I can recommend Rootz organic potting and garden soil. Works great.
