    How can i lower ph??

For dirt, and noobs (or busy people), another option is a pH buffer for fish tanks, find one thats 6.5, and use it in your waterings, helps, and super easy. Otherwise, its best to prepare soil with a pH buffer already in it, like lime. Next time!

Rescued a plant, still an uphill battle

well, if your barely into flowering, turn it back to veg, use a pesticide, and wait a week or 2. then flower. I dont like pesticides, but when it comes to mites, id rather use something strong, then something weak and still risk it. I use a pesticide that i pour onto the soil, then dilute it to...

Roots are brown, plants are saggy

keep the roots out of water! i had the same issue when i did DWC; i added a screen in, under the mesh pots, and over the water line, kept the roots in the air, above the water, they were still wet, but not rotting.

Guide to Nutrient Deficiency or Toxicity

Soil pH.... well, if your not using one of the fancy electronic testers, your pretty much got 2 options, a less accurate non electronic testing method, or just add a strong buffer and hope it works out. For testing it with litmus paper, or the drops that change color, or whatever, take a cup of...

Guide to Nutrient Deficiency or Toxicity

Im not sure. When i did hydro, i did DWC, where the plant was in the rockwool cube, in a strainer type pot full of hydroton balls. That was over the water, with the water circulating 24 hours a day. All was fine until one day i noticed root rot on one plant, that had started leaning and...

    Organic Feeding 101.

yes and no, adding in blueberries to the soil, or tea might help the plant take on that taste, but more then likely it will just boost its growth and flowering. If you really want to take on that taste, stop adding everything else a week before harvest, and add just blueberry juice and water...

Guide to Nutrient Deficiency or Toxicity

well if the rockwool is staying wet, then the roots are also staying wet. maybe you need to change out your rockwool, or elevate it so the excess water can drain out of it. Also, if NOT in flower, you can try adding in some rot/fungus/mold killer, at half strength, to the reservoir to help. do...

hey yea so basically what you did was you bought a buffer. the reason its giving you different readings at different depths/locations, is becuase its not mixed in well. 8 weeks into flowering, both plants are starting to go hermie.

hey, welcome to riu and yea, separate them, first, if ya can Then either go through and pic off the male flowers, or harvest. Id try picking them off, so you can let those plants go longer. 8 weeks is the minimum. but really, 10 is better.
