My plants veg perfectly under t5's. I see absolutely no need to pay the energy for a 1000w HID for vegging. Plus your veg area doesnt need 1000w's. Id slam 3 600w's in a single flowering tent and get a big t5 and put the veg plants under it in a corner. No need for a tent for veg plants...

i have a tiny tent, 2x2 and i find that a single plant with a long veg is the best way to maximize it. I am sure i could achieve similar results with 6 plants in a SOG in the 2x2 space, but i have a 6 plant limit and have a veg/flower setup.

i guess noone else has this problem?

the GH maxigro/maxibloom powders are super cheap but a little harder to use.

buy some good peat based soil-less medium and GH flora 3 part series. Cost ya about $60 and will last u multiple cycles.

u can use any method u want, i use LST and supercropping, if u want to go a route like that u will only need 1 plant, but i was under the impression autos dont take well to this.

I currently have a very similar sized tent, mine is 24"x24"x60" <--- inches I run a 400w HPS and can fill the tent with one plant. But i use photo's and a super long veg. For autos i assume u could fit atleast 4 and maybe more if u want to do a small SOG.

my first grow was very similar. 3 plants one 150watt and a not light proof closet. got an oz a plant with little to no fertalizer, pretty airy but stoney bud.

ive heard that it will keep a plant in veg, that being said if u want to save on power use t5's and run 18 on, you will have better results.
