Hey Riddleme, have you seen the Hortilux blue full spectrum bulbs? http://www.eyehortilux.com/blue.html the spectrum looks similar to the CMH. Pretty expensive though.

it seems that everywhere I have looked for lighting setups w/ remote ballast the 400w is about $10.00 cheaper than the 250W. Ballast kits are pretty cheap but I'm no wiring genius so I'll stick with plug & play.
