Does it make a difference to plants weahter their roots grow verticaly or horizontaly? I dont have much room available verticaly and 6-12 tall inch pot would take up alot of room, but i could get/construct a 3 inch by like 12 inch wide pot so i want to know would it make a big difference?

okay I'm going to have a stealth box grow going on, my first round will be some easy ryders from the man speedyseedz. my stealthbox will hold 3 plants, so i plan on having 2 flowering and 1 clone, i will seperate the clone part so its lighting is not interfered. I want a plant that will stay...
