    DIY with Quantum Boards

For those of you considering DIYing a 4 board light here is a reasonable estimate of what it will cost you, if you use the single heatsinks. I don't like having all 4 hanging so my QB304 light was built using angle aluminum frames, a pair of QBs per frame. That kept the lights fairly adjustable...

    DIY with Quantum Boards

There are several ways you can go, but I recommend using the HLG240H-c2100b. I have 2 on each of my 4 board lights and I have them dimmed to 400 watts ( 200 watts per pair of boards. These boards put out huge amounts of light and at 400 watts, they make more than enough light for a 4x4 tent. In...

You need to add some red if you want to use a Bspec in flower. Maybe you could add some 2700k strips to the center of your heatsink. Bspec was really targeted at veg, its purpose is to promote foliage growth and reduce stretch.

Introducing CobKits.com - specializing in DIY and Citizen COBs

I measured with a quantum par meter. I did not do a grid, just spot measurements at the canopy. at several spots directly under the light I had readings of: 1132, 1047 998 1002. Out to a foot either side of the light my readings were in the 790 -920 rage. I did not average my readings...

    DIY with Quantum Boards

I'm running a pair of HLG240H-C2100b @ 205 watts each from the wall. I'm more than pleased with the lights at this level! Hell I could be running CO2 or could even dim it a bit more and still get the same results, because even at 400 watts, I'm putting out more light than the plants can use at...

Quantum Boards / Too much Yapping no proof

Why, you too fucking lazy too look for your self? Or just illiterate? For someone who claims to want to know the facts, you make no effort to find them. I know what's growing in my tents under my Diablo Lights, I don't need to prove shit. What I do know is I'm growing much more weed for 1/2 the...

There was a video of the Phtobio meter but it seems to be gone. There is one comparing the older model Hydrofarm, however the new model is more accurate, thus the reason for a new model. But the old one was only off by at the max, 100ppfd. More than good enough for reading a grow environment...
