when the plants get nothing but darkness they think they are about to die, at which point they expel a large amount of thc. thats what i have heard but i have never tried it.

If you get caught by the police for growing marijuana you will get in serious trouble. they will tack on possession and intent to sell. if you are afraid of getting caught then i suggest you not attempt to grow.

There is the middle part of the top and there was 2 branches on either side. I snipped one of the branches off. Was that the right spot or do you cut that whole middle part off? My aim is to get 2 colas.

cannabis needs at least 12 hours of light if it is going to be worth planting at all. also, cannabis prefers a temperature of around 75-85F. so to answer your question: not very much.

agreed. why are you concerned about people hearing a water pump noise when soon the whole house is going to smell like a skunk. you should have timers anyways and leaving for a few days should be no biggie.

its suggested to not trim off more than 1/3 of your plants total leaves at a time to prevent stress. keep that in mind when foreseeing stress levels to come. any stress during flowering is bad either way. post a pic or two, but mary jane is a strong plant. you should be good is the stalk still...

im guessing you watered the hell out of the soil after transplanting. it looks like they are very hot and very moist.

looks like a hermie to me. either way theres pollen sacks so you can make the decision to smoke seedy bud or throw it away. if thats your only plant then you should keep it.

youre on track with the blue colored lighting. thats great for veg, then more of the red spectrum is better for flowering. dont spend too much $$$ on uvb lighting at pet stores, daylight cfls are just as good for plants :) the stretching isnt bad, they look quite healthy.
