    Simple question about watering soil

I could water them now and make sure they are really watered, but that's not a good idea before lights out from what I've read, right?

    Simple question about watering soil

For this grow I used Fox Farms Ocean Forest with a good amount of perlite and a layer of regular potting soil the size of a solo cup in between the young plant and the FF when I transplanted them to the fabric pots.

I wonder, I have CAL-MAG super by botanicare, which can't be mixed in the same water as the advanced nutrients because it will mess with the ph perfect system from what i've read other people have claimed.. Would it be beneficial if I scheduled my watering with AN one water, Cal-Mag the next...

The Advanced Nutrients is a base nutrient lineup, not only a ph balancer, so I will probably finish with it since I'm getting close to the end and don't want to change anything major like that, but I'll definitely be using a different base nutrient next time. As for the Fox Farms, it's somewhere...

    Simple question about watering soil

thank you for clarifying. I may try something like that.. usually i just feel the bag bottom and sides to see if the soil is crumbly feeling.. next grow I probably won't use the bags again.. not a huge fan of disturbing the rootball

    Simple question about watering soil

they aren't very big, possibly due to watering issues (not giving them enough each time). they are about 9 days into flower. I should mention they veg'd for a considerable amount of time (approx 8 weeks..) to get to this size, and they are each under 20 inches tall... but no, I haven't tried...

    Simple question about watering soil

that's just the size of the pots i only have them filled about half way. thank you for your insight, friend. So far I haven't had any major issues so I guess I will continue, possibly even feed them more than I already do and see how it turns out.. I've yet to have an overwatering problem, only...

    Simple question about watering soil

My watering schedule is basically once every other day. If I don't water every other day, my plants will be dried out to the point of wilting on the third morning since last watering. Is it better to let them dry to the point of wilting, or should I continue to water as I have been? I guess it...

Kind of weird to see them curl like this but otherwise seem healthy. Here are some pics, only 2 of them are doing this and only happening to the tallest growth.

Advanced Nutrients Grow Micro Bloom ph perfect and Big Bud now in flower. I think they are a little light colored because the lights might have been a little too close, which is why I raised them slightly. Also I only recently added the second light for flower so that could be why they are...

Here's some pics I just took. Not sure why the tops are clawing today they weren't yesterday.. Lol. I adjusted the lights up a little bit after I took these pics. These were germinated seeds planted into starter pucks, left in mini greenhouse til first node started to show, then into Fox Farms...

3 nodes. When I started training them I was a little rough and two of them split down the middle. That and temperatures getting really cold I think had a lot to do with how fast/robust they grew. I'm going to go take some pictures now for ya

i appreciate the offer, that's very kind of you. I believe my issue is using ANutrients in tap water, after reading more. I really should have brushed up on my growing knowledge before I dove right in.. Next grow won't be using AN. Thinking of switching to a dry nutrient line like General...

1st grow. 5 weeks into flower and just noticed brown spots.

this. BUT also, to be safe, i'd cut those leafs off on the off-chance it's some kind of disease that will end up spreading

    12/12from seed first time

you can search my profile if you want but over 10 years ago i planted two bag seeds with 4 CFL lightbulbs and did 24/0 until they had like 2 or 3 nodes then switched to 12/12 and ended up with plants that were like 8-10 inches tall and just one solid nug
