The toll of the anti-vaccination movement, in one devastating graphic

Ever since they put squalene in the H1N1 vaccine even though it was illegal in the U.S. for good reason, I don't trust anything vaccine related until I research it and know exactly what is in it... no acceptions. Btw they planned an immunizing 75 million children with it. I see the benefits...

    Taking seeds on the airplane

Dont carry them on you, put them in your bag. You can't take anything through the full body scanners. Nerds is a good idea. I saw a suggestion in another thread to just put them in a small bag of lentils or something similar. I just traveled with some in my checked baggage. Took about 25...

    grow duration ?

Outdoors the light cycle changes slowly and the plant takes longer to get into full on flower mode. Sept Oct is a very typical finishing time.

Damn, thanks for letting me know the pics don't show (I can see them if I click them). The site had a sort of crash after I posted, I really hope riu irons out the issues soon. Looks like you have a great space to grow in J. Looking forward to seeing your grow develop. I will try to repost...

    Cascadian's Continuing Grow Journal 600 Watt 5X5

Forgot to mention that I switched to 12/12 from 13/11 a couple days ago. Checked on the plants tonight and the Amnesia Auto is about ready to produce pollen so moved it to the dudes only room. The HH is finally looking like it will also produce pollen pretty soon. None of the other plants...

Female Seeds C99, Nirvana Northern Lights Auto and others outdoor operation.

From what I have heard Peugeot should be avoided. That thing will probably cost $1000 to repair over the next year or so... Not familiar with the different models/years just what I have heard... I think skipping it is the right move. Better safe than sorry

I have gotten viable seeds in 3-4 weeks. I think it is somewhat strain dependent. I believe sativas will take longer and indicas quicker generally. Sometimes a strain will tend not to have the calyxes pop open so you can see the seeds. JillyBean was this way for me, I thought that I wouldn't...

1st Grow - Custom Room: Pineapple Chunk, Spc. Kush, Ice, G13, Hollands Hope

Should have said "pics", just meant the array of shots gives a very detailed picture, nicely done. Solid game plan bro, I also gave my plants a shot of higher N about 1.5 weeks before the chop. I think it helped them. No flush for me either, but I use mostly organic nutes which never need...

    Jointed's Journey

Thanks DC, much appreciated. I did a lot of reading about how much to let temps drop when I started growing again, because it was winter. From what I could see most believe that about a 15 degree drop is the max in an ideal situation so thats what I did. Really good to know how far that...

Looking good, still some time left it looks like. Probably the best trichome pic I have seen on RIU.

    Jointed's Journey

This is interesting, I didn't realize that Blueberry could tolerate temps that low. Might have to add that to the outdoor mix... Where did you buy the seeds, do you remember the breeder? Thanks DC.

That is a good idea, any plant that can withstand low temps would work really well. It could be planted earlier and/or at higher elevation. I know of good spots at high elevation but wouldn't plant there due to the temps. I am planning on crossing the auto to the HH. It will take another...

Who grows in Smaller Pots than 5 Gallon?

I use 2 gallon smart pots, 3.5 gallon regular pots, and 2 liter pots. I haven't grown for a while prior to my recent grow but I did measure the yield of every plant. The 2 gallon smart pots yielded about the same as the 3.5 gallon pots. If you used 2 or 3 gallon smart pots my guess is you...

    Cascadian's Continuing Grow Journal 600 Watt 5X5

Update on the current grow. Day 12 of flower. The JillyBean ended up being a male, none of the others have showed sex yet. I actually decided to clone it for the hell of it. I really liked it's structure and it was smelly for a male. I might just plant it somewhere near where I live and...

It should not be any more prone to hermie than either plant already was. AOS is an F1 cross of JTR and BCS which will result in relatively uniform offspring (AOS). What happens when you cross AOS to AOS is you are going to get a much more random and varied expression of the genes. For example...

    Cascadian's Continuing Grow Journal 600 Watt 5X5

No problem Jake, I have been researching a lot on outdoor considerations in the NW. I know from first hand experience how real the mold risk is. Not sure why I haven't tried to dig up any pics before. I have seen enough people called out on "pics or it didn't happen" pretty often on RIU...

1st Grow - Custom Room: Pineapple Chunk, Spc. Kush, Ice, G13, Hollands Hope

I had the same challenge when I harvested. I just chose a good middle ground where most were either close to done or just past prime. If it were me I might build a custom box out of cardboard and light proof it as best i could. Here is a link I found when I was considering building one...

auto pounders in a grow tent ?

I completely agree... You will need a large room with several thousand watts of lighting, A/C, custom electrical wiring/breaker, etc etc to pull the kind of yield you are talking about. Or grow some trees in the great outdoors. One other tip is to use airpots or smartpots. larger is...
