Anyone know what's up with those black trichomes though? Is that an indicator of anything? Or just an oddity?

Certainly in the window... I get those black trichomes from time to time too and wondered if it was normal, and even worried it might be mold, but IDK... Maybe give her another week or so?

Yeah, I've got a purple strain, but it only turns a little bit purple and that's with the cooler temps. I never really do that any more though because I don't want mildew and mold creeping in... Not worth the look...

Yep agree, false advertising... Plus you may need cooler temps at night to bring out the colors... Aim for a difference of at least 10 degrees F between day and night...

As for the trich thing - IDK, maybe I'm crazy, but even if you harvested now, a lot of those cloudy trichs will turn amber during the dry/curing... Go ahead and chop if you think you'll like the smoke - or chop a nug and let it dry overnight and give it a try! I mostly don't worry about cloudy...

I would agree with this - looks like burn, or uptake issues, but then again I get this all the time too ha ha... Also I've found this late in the game if the plants get too dry at any point this can happen in an instant...

I've never grown autos, but I would let them finish I think... Start some news seeds too though if you can, if those weren't autos I would suggest maybe trying a reveg or clone them for a super-crop... I don't know if you can do that with autos though. Yeah, that heat early on probably doomed...

Hmm, maybe more light needed, a little too close possibly is all that comes to mind. The leaves look damaged here and there like tears or something? A little twisted - maybe make sure your ph meter is calibrated too... Keep at it! They don't look that bad, just a little beat up and small...
