Usually perlite is mixed with vermiculite in a 3 to 1 ratio. The perlite is for aeration and drainage and the vermiculite holds water.

To make omelets especially yummy I seperate the egg whites from the yolks. Whip up the whites till fluffy then fold in the lightly beaten (and seasoned) yolks. When they are cooked they are really light and fluffy.

Just an updated photo of my Red Dragon mini-SCROG ... the last of my soil grows. It's now about 4 weeks since I switched to 12/12 and based on my previous grow, the SCROG has another 6 weeks till harvest. Did I mention that I love Red Dragon ... it certainly won't be my last Red Dragon grow...

Should be fine. If I could make a suggestion ... make your cut a bit closer to the node, they seem to send roots out better close to the nodes. I use gel then stick the clones straight into Jiffy peat pellets and a week later the roots poke through the side of the pellet andthey are on their way.

Trim those larger leaves and you probably have a 100% chance of success - no reason why they should fail - maybe take a bit longer than if you used rooting gel, but they should root OK.
