I'd look more towards citric acid if you want to kill any eggs left on the leaves. How big are your plants? It it is not unreasonable to wipe down leaves I'd opt for that over spraying at this point. Impossible to tell without a picture but I personally would not want to spray bt at this point, I'm sure others would disagree. If you are going to do a bud wash at harvest though you may be fine. Have you used bt before? I'm not trying to spray that onto my buds.

Once you cut your plant down it was probably off of it within 2 days. They want live plants. That does mean that there is likely a spot in your hanging plant he was munching try to find it and cut it out.

I would just do my best to go out there everyday multiple time and try to spot and pick off caterpillars, town what they got and protect the rest. I wouldn't spray my buds if they are at the point of coming down soon.
