Sounds like the extension should be OK then I could even swap the extractor fan with something else with less watts. Thanks a lot mate your a legend just exactly the information I was needing, my 1st grow so every little helps can't thank ye enough

It's a pretty heavy duty one the cord is thick and got a one way controller to plug into it,don't know exactly what it does thoug

Is it safe to run a 600 watt hps from a heavy duty extension instead of having it going straight into a wall socket? Can I use a double extension and run carbon filter from it asswell or is that not safe? Don't really want to get new sockets fitted
