    My fingers on the button!!!!!

The Scorpion is an awesome light, however, unless you plant to run CO2 it might be overkill. I'm running mine in a 4x4 space open on 2 sides and I've dimmed it to 450 watts. I adjust the height by PAR readings, I try to keep the average PPF at the canopy in the 750 - 1000 range, which is the...

The new QB 648 Diablo from Horticulture Lighting Group

They brought them back about 2 weeks ago. Good to see! I also find it interesting that they run it @ 200 watts on a slate 2.

Yep, big falling out with GML. No HLG is not building their lights for them. I suspect the light is the issue.....

    A ? for HLG Diablo 200 users

And personally, I won't use the a type drivers, they are a pain in the ass to adjust and if you do it too many time, the plastic screw slot strips very easily. IMO. I'd just leave it as set stock.

At 625 watts, the Scorpion puts out almost 1800 PPF! It doesn't need a bigger driver lol!

Interesting, I got one last week and the driver was not mounted to the heatsink.

Yes, it actually draws less power. Efficiency goes down with lower draw also. I believe a 50% dim lowers efficiency to about 86%. Not certain about that amount, it's been a while since I looked at those specs.

They appear to be GML's design. I'll have to look into who is building them.

Looks like the final count is 74 after losing two to damping off. seedlings are doing well. I watered them with RO water with 90 ppms of calmag, PH 6.4. Lowered the light to 30 inches and cranked it up to 675 watts. I'm averaging 500 PPF at that height. didn't want to lower the light any...
