dont dim your ballast. it will decrease your bulb life. i have a dimmable 1000w Lumatek, but i will never touch the switch. if you have the funds for more bulbs, then you can dim away..just my 2 cents.

of course. i forget how long they have been going myself, hehehe. i will have another update for yall shortly. i pruned some leaves on both sides to allow more light to get to the lower branches. the HPS is still steady stretching em up, while the LED is really filling em out.

growth is really picking up now. both sides are looking better and better each day.

LumiGrow is also the most high tech of all the current units out there. new tech is always expensive. in time, prices will go down. thats why i am sharing my experience with the public. any unit with over 3w diodes is going to be very pricey. at least its cheaper than the SmartLamp, hehehe.

thanks yall. im very impressed so far with the LED growth. the units do have the option to dial down the blue, to enable more stretch, but im gonna keep both dials up full blast for this test. the LumiGrow ES 330w units cost $1299 each. combined wattage is 660. it uses 5w American diodes...

UPDATE TIME....... both sides are ready to blast off. i had to raise the LED units to get them to stretch. they are getting super stacked, while the HPS is steady stretching them. i love the internodal distance on the LED plants. these units stack way better than my T5's. i am gonna want one of...

it looks like nute burn to me. i doubt at that stage, that it would be a deficiency. i dont even feed my seedlings or clones until they show me that they need em. usually the leaves will start to yellow slightly, indicating that it needs nutes. even then, i will only start out with a low dose...
