Failsafe method of germination for dwc?

I dunno man I failed using these on my last round. Maybe I watered too much? To often? Not enough light? Not sure but the plants stunted and didn’t really grow in the rapid rooters

    Dark period interuotion

so growing in a gorilla tent indoors One of my extension cords has a tiny orange led in the plugin part. I assume to let you know there’s live power in the cord. Will this mess with my dark periods? it’s minimal but does cast a slight orange hew. I mean for that matter there’s also a bit of...

    Rapid rooters vs Rockwool

What are some pros and cons of Rapid Rooters vs Rockwool? I’ve heard some say start in rapid rooter and place the plug into a Rockwool cube, like a hybrid combination. Thoughts?

    Led lighting

I use a Rayonled GLM720. Amazing light. Only single downside I can find is that they are heavy and recommend a 1/4” sungrip for hanging. the 1/8” hanger was pulling.

    Gold Roots + UCRoots

Using a current culture under current system. Plants are in for their first week of veg in the DWC system. I was told not to use Gold Roots with UC Roots as Gold has a lot of organically and cultures that will be killed off with the UC Roots.... Don’t want to waste it as it’s expensive...

I have a serious problem alert

No bring it in from an adjacent room inside Do not bring in outside air. You could bring in spores that are bad and like you said it’s just hot air. My room is in the basement and I bring in air from the empty basement into the room (tent)

I have a serious problem alert

I have two 8” vortex S line fans Intake is on a Grozone HT2 controller. Brings in cool air from outside the room when needed. Exhaust is on low and constantly exhausting to keep heat down and smell is almost non existent because of a full time negative pressure. my basement is cool so it’s...

What is the optimal range for temperatures and humidity?

Honestly I’ve never tried growing with window light so I’m not sure. Assume your window is facing south? If not I wouldn’t recommend it

What is the optimal range for temperatures and humidity?

Working in conjunction with temperature, humidity ensures natural plant processes such as transpiration, can take place. Maintain vegetative humidity levels between 60-70% (daytime) / 45-60% (nighttime) and flowering humidity levels between 40-60% (daytime) / 30-40% (nighttime). Easier if you...

I have a serious problem alert

I have that same size room! The heat build up made the exhaust fan run almost constantly and that was sucking out all my humidity. Maybe get a second fan and bring in air from outside your room? Turn it on low so you still maintain a negative pressure or you’ll have a nice smell all over the...

    LED Companies w/ LINKS

Just adding to an old thread here but have a look at Rayonled LED lighting. Specifically the GLM720. These things are insane. I have no affiliation by the way just good results from using these!

Can I use a home office / furnace room for my grow?

I’d say make sure you have negative pressure at all times and a good exhaust fan with carbon filter and you’re good to go. Otherwise your plants will become your new Scentsy
